By using the forecaster the battery system will look at the predicted sun production and evolution of the Epex dynamic price evolution. It will decide to use the battery system and create the maximum return while the grid is envolve to a more unbalanced environment.
Why would you store electricity ?
To support “fit for 55” we have to produce more green energy by using wind and sun. It is almost impossible to balance our business processes depending on the weather. The more sun panels and wind we are installing, the more Evchargers we are installing, the more we create an unbalance and congestion on the net. The effect of too much production are lower the prices while at night and dark days the availability will be lower and prices higher. This situation creates besides a price effect also an unpredictable balance situation and even a potential black-out.
If we want to maximize your own green production or use electricity when prices are low we need to store this energy untill it is needed. This way you are not only using your own produced energy but also helps the net in balancing.
